Headed by Tax Assessor Barbara Saccoccia, the Tax Assessment Office is responsible for determining the market value of all real property within the City of Brigantine Beach for the purpose of assessment. Additional duties include deed transfers, tax map maintenance, property owner mailing address changes, bank code changes, and Regional Efficiency Air Program, SR1As and processing of property tax deductions.

The Tax Collector's Duties include the following four broad categories: billing, cashiering, reports and enforcement. As Tax Collector, she also holds the dual title of Utility Collector and is thus charged with the duty of billing and collecting both sewer service and water charges.
