ART CAMPS

Children will experience a variety of mediums and techniques focusing on exploring Art.  All supplies are included.   Instructor:  Teri Gragg

 POTTERY CAMP

Children will experience various aspects of hand built pottery including coil, pinch pot and glaze.

CHESS FOR KIDS

This camp will begin with the basics of how each piece moves and will quickly move onto strategic play that will stretch your mind.   Instructor:  Barbara Ackerman

BUILDING BLOCKS TO SOCIAL SKILLS        

Age appropriate social skills will be taught in a small group environment by an experienced dual certified teacher.  Children will learn the building blocks of social interaction through play activities to include songs, stories, art projects, interactive games and hands on activities which focus on social skills.  Instructor:  Nancy Liebenow

 BUILDING BUDDIES

This class will focus on the social skills children need to interact as they progress through elementary school.  Lego building, board games and cooperative activities will provide practice and focus on the many needed social skills.  Instructor:  Nancy Liebenow

SCI-FUN KITCHEN CHEMISTRY

This camp is for future scientists or kids who just like to have fun learning about cool stuff.  Every day we will perform hands on experiments.  Each camper will receive a Cool Science Geer packet.

PHOTOGRAPHY FOR KIDS

 SUMMER FUN IN SPANISH

Come and have fun in Spanish.  No prior knowledge of Spanish is needed.  Each class will include crafts, music, dances and movement.  Summertime fun learning another language.

 SCI-FUN VOLCANOES AND MORE

This camp is for kids who want to work on cool science projects.  The campers will perform new hands on activities such as Snack Tectonics and Exploding Volcanoes.

A class for budding chefs or curious kids!  Students will learn the basic cooking/baking techniques, kitchen safety and how to follow a simple recipe.  Instructor:  Deana Donofrio            LIMIT:  15 Students

 COOKING FOR KIDS

A perfect class for budding chefs or those looking to sharpen their skills.  Campers will enjoy eating a meal that they actually cooked.  Instructor:  Deana Donofrio     LIMIT:  20 Students

 READING CRAFTS

Students will read stories, make crafts and play games related to the story.  Computer time will be included.  Instructors:  Jessica Estlow and Melissa Knoff

 SUMMER FUN IN FRENCH

Learn about fun things in the summer in French.  Topics will include the beach, vacation and rainy days.  No prior knowledge of French is needed.

 ART IN THE GARDEN

Get creative while learning about seeds and what they need to sprout and grow.  Make stepping stones, cloth banners and plant pot people.   Instructor:  Melissa Knoff

 FRENCH LANGUAGE MOVIE CAMP

Students will create a 30 minute movie in French with English subtitles.  No prior knowledge of French is needed.  Participate in a Brigantine summer camp French Movie Festival.  Instructor:  Gyselle North.

 STAGE DESIGN

 THEATRE CAMP

This year’s theatre camp will present 'Fiddler on the Roof'.  Camp will run for 3 weeks beginning Monday, July 26 and culminating with two performances on Friday, August 13.  The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. but not all campers will be present for the entire day.  You will be assigned a schedule.  Directors:  Elaine King & Jennifer Gilbert
