CER Program

 

YOGA

A union of the mind and body.  Build strength and flexibility through gentle yoga.  Develop focus, balance, concentration, patience and determination.  Learn breathing techniques, postures and meditation to strengthen the nervous system and increase respiratory capacity.

TAI CHI

This course will combine the soft fluid movements that help promote good health, balance, coordination, relaxation and aids in stress reduction along with the fundamental principles of these ancient art forms for health and well being.  Wear loose clothing.  (*2)

PILATES

This course will teach specific exercises combined with focused breathing techniques to help increase flexibility, strength, endurance and coordination without adding muscle bulk.  Improve circulation, have better posture and experience better overall health.  (*2)

SPIN CLASS

Don't miss this class.  Spinning is a low impact, individually paced, group training program designed for all riders and fitness levels.  The cycle experience is simulated through music while you control your own intensity.  Students will increase their muscular endurance and strength along with the many benefits of cardiovascular exercise with this fun and easy to learn program.  Heart rate monitors enhance the experience but not necessary.  (*2)

INTRO TO HOLISTIC HEALTH

This program is well rounded as it touches on all aspects of how to live a holistic life. Teaching an integrative approach to lifestyle and nutrition that is custom fit to the student is key. There is no one perfect way of eating that works for everyone. We will focus on intuitive eating and exercise as well as self-esteem and making simple but permanent lifestyle changes.  Some of the topics we will discuss: Feel confident in choosing and preparing better food for yourself ; Kick caffeine; Experience lasting energy and vitality; Learn how to dissect your cravings and stop them now; Be healthy on the road and on the go; Feel better in your body and achieve your ideal weight;  *There will be a book fee of $12-$15.  (*2)

COLOR ME YOGA FOR KIDS

Have you ever thought about the benefits that yoga can bring to your child?  They will learn to build focus with breathing techniques, have fun with innovative games and learn cooperative teamwork with partner poses.  Allow your child to have fun, get fit and learn life skills. Ages 6-11.

SHAPE UP!

Are you ready to get back into shape?  Shape up is a cardiovascular interval training workout that is suitable for men and women of all ages.  The class is designed to elevate the heart rate, burn fat and tone muscle.  A cardio workout followed by interval training that will strengthen and tone your muscles.  The class will incorporate slow and fast tempos but will also allow the participant to set their own pace if needed.  (*2)
