NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City of Brigantine, Atlantic County, New Jersey for “BRIGANTINE BEACH COMMUNITY CENTER, CITY OF BRIGANTINE REBID, NEW JERSEY”.  Proposals are to be opened and read in public at City Hall, located at 1417 Brigantine Avenue, Brigantine, New Jersey on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11:00 am, Local Time. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.  Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud immediately after specified closing time.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

 

You are invited to submit a bid on a General Contract, including mechanical and electrical work, for a Brigantine Beach Community Center. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted. Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the Plans and Specifications in PDF format on a disk upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $50.00 in the form of a certified check made payable the City of Brigantine C/O Arc Reprographics, Inc. Bids must be made on the Standard Proposal Forms contained in the Specifications and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and plainly marked “BRIGANTINE BEACH COMMUNITY CENTER REBID, CITY OF BRIGANTINE REBID” bearing the name and address of the Bidder on the outside.  Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond, in an amount not less than ten percent [10%] of the amount bid for the project, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. Your bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission.

 

PRE-BID SITE VISIT: A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 9:00 am, Local Time. This will be the only opportunity for bidders to visit this facility. Bidders are strongly urged to attend.

 

There is an approved Project Labor Agreement for this project that the Contractor must comply to. See section 01900 of Division 1 General Requirement for complete document.
