Requirements for Wedding / Civil Union License Applications

  1. Both applicants must furnish some form of a State Issued ID.
  2. If either applicant has been previously married or in a civil union he / she must furnish copy of divorce decree or death certificate.
  3. One (1) witness over the age of 18 must accompany applicants when applying for the license.
  4. A 72 hour waiting period is required from the time of application to the issuance of the license.
  5. Written consent of both parents is required for the marriage of either applicant under 18 years of age.
  6. The fee of $28.00 is to be paid upon application.

Municipal office hours for marriage license applications are 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
